So I am a bit of java junkie. Like 3 or 4 black unsweetened long espresso a day. The first two are to get me going in the morning. The other 2 are just because I truly enjoy it! But sometimes the weather is too hot for hot coffee, even for me.
You have likely noticed that every coffee shop worth its beans is offering cold-brewed iced coffee. The cold brewing gives a richer, smoother and less bitter flavour. And you have likely also noticed it is ridiculously expensive and those “small batches” are always sold out long before your mid-morning coffee break. Its time to brew your own!
I’m generally not a fan of flavoured coffees, but I do like the hints of cocoa and cinnamon added to this brew. As always, the quality of your ingredients affect the outcome of you final product and that is never more true than when it comes to cold brewed coffee. So get some good grinds.
Stay caffeinated my friends.
